Galina Stetco est née en 1975 en Moldavie. En 2000, elle a obtenu un diplôme en architecture de l'Université technique de Moldavie à Chisinau. Elle a émigré au Canada en 2003 et vit depuis dans la région du Grand Montréal.
Elle a commencé à peindre à l'âge de 10 ans et s'est intéressée à la sculpture en 2013. Stetco utilise son expérience en architecture pour offrir des représentations de forme qui combinent à la fois des éléments figuratifs et abstraits, dans le but de souligner la pluralité de la réalité non linéaire. Galina Stetco parle français, anglais, roumain et russe. Son travail peut être trouvé au Canada, aux États-Unis, en Arabie saoudite, en Moldavie, en Italie, en Suisse et en Égypte.
Galina Stetco was born in 1975 in Moldova. In 2000, she earned a degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Moldova in Chișinău. She immigrated to Canada in 2003 and has since been living in the Greater Montreal area.
She began painting at the age of ten and developed an interest in sculpture in 2013. Drawing on her architectural background, Stetco creates formal representations that combine figurative and abstract elements, highlighting the plurality of non-linear reality. Galina Stetco is fluent in French, English, Romanian, and Russian. Her work can be found in Canada, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Moldova, Italy, Switzerland, and Egypt.
